"Respectful relationships" examines how young people can negotiate their relationship needs respectfully and safely in partner relationships, friendships and family relationships. Issues addressed in this book include peer pressure and teen friendships; dating pressures and sexual coercion; domestic violence and abusive relationships; and managing anger and conflict. It was developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research and the Kulunga Research Network, Telethon Institute for Child Health Research with funding through the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. The book offers a high quality, comprehensive examination of issues and strategies influencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health and social and emotional wellbeing.
